There are three different ways to use the Search function within SourceWhale:

Websites

You can use a boolean search across LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, LinkedIn X-Ray, Google, StackOverflow, Xing, Github, Bing and Duck Duck Go to search for contacts and candidates easily to send outreach to.

Step 1.

Navigate to the Search page.

Step 2.

Enter an option for each field and select the relevant options from each dropdown. Select the options you want to search for and press 'Add Selected' or 'Add All'.

Step 3.

After adding terms, only the parent term is displayed in the search builder to keep the interface tidy. Clicking the parent tag reveals the included terms, and you can add new terms or remove existing terms.

Step 4.

Drag and drop parent terms on top of each other to switch from an "AND" to an "OR" function for job title and skill include fields.

Step 5.

Unlink combined tags by clicking an unlink icon.

Step 6.

Select the website you would like to perform the search on and click Search.

Job Boards

Step 1.

Integrate your Job board here if you haven't already.

Step 2.

Select Job Boards from the dropdown.

Step 3.

Enter an option for each field and select the relevant options from each dropdown. Select the options you want to search for and press 'Add Selected' or 'Add All'.

Step 4.

After adding terms, only the parent term is displayed in the search builder to keep the interface tidy. Clicking the parent tag reveals the included terms, and you can add new terms or remove existing terms.

Step 5.

Complete your search within your job board or with your CRM/ATS.

CRM/ATS

Step 1.

Select your CRM/ATS in the dropdown.

Step 2.

Complete your search requirements on the left and click search.

Step 3.

Select the contacts you wish to contact on the right and upload to SourceWhale.
