Setting up your Workable integration in SourceWhale is very simple, all you need to do is follow the steps below.

Step 1

Go to your initials/image in the bottom left-hand corner of SourceWhale and click on it > Select Integrations from the dropdown box > Select workable.

Step 2

To enable the Workable integration, go to the integrations page and click generate new token under the Access Token section.

Step 3

Click activate.

When the integration is active, you will see a green connected box appear to the right hand side of the Workable logo.

Sync Features

On the integrations page, you will be able to set default settings for yourself and your team.

General Settings

  1. Do not merge with existing contacts in Workable: Turning this toggle on will create duplicates in Workable.

  2. Backfill SourceWhale events when creating a contact: Turning this toggle on will push all of the notes for SourceWhale events that have happened prior to us creating the contact in the CRM.

  3. Create notes upon: Choose for which outreach types a note is pushed in Workable.

Sync Settings

  1. Only add notes to synced records: Toggling this on will mean that if you have "sync upon interested" or "sync upon replied" for the next option, we will only add notes to existing records in Workable once a Candidate has been marked as "interested" or "replied".

  2. When adding to a campaign: Choose to sync when adding Candidates or when they respond or when they respond positively and are interested. Click the lock icon to lock the sync settings for all non-admin users within the platform.

  3. Displayed fields: Choose which Workable fields users can optionally tag to a Candidate to push into Workable.

  4. Mandatory fields: Choose which Workable fields must be filled to push Candidates into Workable.

  5. Protected fields: Selected fields will not be overwritten in Workable when syncing data.

  6. Filterable fields: Selected fields will be displayed within the SourceWhale search page as a filter, allowing your team to search your CRM using these fields directly from within SourceWhale.

Stage Mapping

Here you can map SourceWhale stages to your custom Workable stages.

  1. Select the drop-down for each stage to map it to the correct Workable Stage

Note: Check out this article to learn more about the SourceWhale stages.

Field Mapping

Here you can customise and map all Workable fields to the corresponding SourceWhale variable.

Note: Please do not adjust unless you are finding that the variables are not mapping as expected in Workable.

  1. String Variables: These SourceWhale variables can only be mapped to one field in Workable.

  2. List Variables: These SourceWhale variables can be mapped to multiple fields in Workable.

  3. Social URLs: Link specific social URLs such as LinkedIn, Twitter etc to the correct field in Workable.

You are now ready to start using the Workable integration.
