Step 1

  • Navigate to your initials/image in the bottom left-hand corner of SourceWhale

  • Click on the initials/image

  • Select Integrations from the dropdown menu

  • Select Lever.

Step 2

  • Once on the integrations page select Lever and click on Activate.

Step 3

Sign in to Lever when prompted.

Step 4

Click ‘Accept’ on the Lever redirect window.

Step 5

When the integration is active, you will see a green connected box appear on the right-hand side of the Lever logo.

Sync Features

On the integrations page, you will be able to set default settings for yourself and your team.

General Settings

  1. Do not merge with existing contacts in Lever: Turning this toggle on will create duplicates in Lever.

  2. Create notes upon: Choose for which outreach types a note is pushed in Lever.

Sync Settings

  1. Only add notes to synced records: Toggling this on will mean that if you have "sync upon interested" or "sync upon replied" for the next option, we will only add notes to existing records in Lever once a Candidate has been marked as "interested" or "replied".

  2. When adding to a campaign: Choose to sync when adding Candidates or when they respond or when they respond positively and are interested. Click the lock icon to lock the sync settings for all non-admin users within the platform.

  3. Displayed fields: Choose which Lever fields users can optionally tag to a Candidate/Contact to push into Lever.

  4. Mandatory fields: Choose which Lever fields must be filled to push Candidates into Lever.

  5. Protected fields: Selected fields will not be overwritten in Lever when syncing data.

  6. Filterable fields: Selected fields will be displayed within the SourceWhale search page as a filter, allowing your team to search your CRM using these fields directly from within SourceWhale.

Stage Mapping

Here you can map SourceWhale stages to your custom Lever stages.

  1. Select the drop-down for each stage to map it to the correct Lever Stage

Note: Check out this article to learn more about the SourceWhale stages.

Field Mapping

Here you can customise and map all Lever fields to the corresponding SourceWhale variable.

Note: Please do not adjust unless you are finding that the variables are not mapping as expected in Lever.

  1. String Variables: These SourceWhale variables can only be mapped to one field in Lever.

  2. List Variables: These SourceWhale variables can be mapped to multiple fields in Lever.

  3. Social URLs: Link specific social URLs such as LinkedIn, Twitter etc to the correct field in Lever.

You are now ready to start using your Lever integrations.
